Is this derision or sarcasm? One can't tell.

Love it! I laughed out loud.

dumb. a lawn mower does not qualify as heavy machinery.

yeah, there's a problem: those lawnmowers that are bigger than some street-savvy automobiles would qualify as heavy machinery -- but no owner of these would ever let a child use these -- since it's just tooo much fun to drive around with them (they've got a speed switch that, really!, lets you choose between "Turtle" and "Rabbit"-icons)

I made a killing mowing lawns in rich neighborhoods during high school. Around $25/hr.

My father's lawn mower was kind of heavy ... at least it was when I was 8.

... of course, that dollar sign looked more like a c with a line through it and it came after the 20 ...

Check this out:
http://www.jsonline.com/watch/?watch=1&date=7/25/2008&id=43803

a guy was arrested for shooting his lawnmower with a sawed-off shotgun.

Surprisingly, alcohol may have been involved.

This made me laugh.
And my foot was cut off by a lawnmower.
It's OK, they sewed it back on.

Yes! Of course! Why didn't I think of that!

Yeah I totally met a girl whose brother cut her heel off the with the lawnmower on purpose. I guess that's why I was always strictly forbidden to mow the lawn, which, in retrospect, was awesome.
