duct tape works much better around blood though- masking tape becomes all but useless in my limited experience (22 years on the planet)... :)

Duck tape user here. Walmart price isnt bad either. Last I looked, they were offering two big rolls for $5 or $6. Besides, with ducktape, you have color options =D

electrical tape is my favorite, but a lot of people probably don't keep it around. and don't forget the poor mans stiches, superglue

crazy glue works well for little cuts, cheaper than "Dermabond"
