As a girl with size 11 feet, I applaud this as entirely true.

I have size 5.5 feet...my friends hate that I can randomly pick up display shoes and try them on! Hee hee!

I so disagree about fat animals. Cutest EVER.

Not always. I find fat cats to be gross.

I almost snorted water out my nose when reading "potential mate"

The shoe thing is SO true. (Size 11 shoe here!)

how do you walk on size 5 feet?

As a man who consistently buys size 11 women's shoes, this is outrageous!

I agree! I will find the cutest shoe and by the time I find it in my size 10, it is not so cute anymore. None of my friends understand and think I'm just being dramatic. Must be hard wearing a size 5.

Hey! Big Girls need love too!

Too much game theory, Wiley? Got a little fixation with the Nash scenario?

Having worked in a women's shoes department, I can tell you that they commonly try to display the smallest size in stock - so if the shoe on display is too small, it's unlikely that they'll have your size in the stockroom (good to know during sales frenzies!)

You definitely make out like a bandit at shoe sales when you have small feet! :)

As for the cute thing... what about panda bears? They're huge and adorable.

I think you mean "if the shoe is too big, they probably don't have your size." If they're displaying the smallest shoe, and it's smaller than yours, it means they still have bigger shoes.

Indeed, nothing is as cute as bacteria. *whips out a microscope*

I have size 6 feet, and really, a lot of the shoes today, when you're buying them at chain stores or whatever, are ugly.

vintage shoes ftw!
