Thats pretty fantastic. As a physicist though, I think that you should have have done the overlap of all three. Something like, "The only way quantum makes sense." Or "How string theory was created"
For me, it doesn't even take advanced physics. When I got my Comp. Sci. degree as a part time student late in the last century, I survived Physics 100, not to mention some advanced math courses.
too true. This is getting printed out for my AP class tomorrow. D.A.R.E: Deleterios A.P. Resistance Education I love the way you put life into little circles and labled sections, and on index cards no less.
1) Perturbational string theory demands BRST invariance to unit the effects of a massive body and an accelerated frame. 2)BRST invariance demands the Equivalence Principle. Two lumps that divergently vacuum free fall end string theory. 3) http://www.ift.unesp.br/gcg/tele.pdf Chapter 9, Eq. 9.52, p. 75. "a self dual (anti-self dual) torsion couples only to the left-hand (right-hand) component of the spinor field. In other words, gravitation becomes a chiral interaction, a property that may eventually have important consequences at the microscopic level." 4) A chiral vacuum background is a left foot. Opposite shoes (opposite parity mass distributions) fit with different energies. They will vacuum free fall along divergent paths. Put on two left shoes, close your eyes, try to walk a straight line. 5) Solid single crystal spheres (no direction bias) of enantiomorphic space groups P3(1)21 and P3(2)21 alpha-quartz - a parity Eotvos experiment contrasting opposite atomic mass distribution chiralities. Then...
10^1000 acceptable string theory vacua are empirically (pdf) falsified. Let's see Humpty Dumpty come back from that.
What is the difference between the left circle, drugs, and the right one, physics? Nothing, it seems, as I consult the dictionary, they are both drugs:
Physics
...
2. A specific internal application for the cure or relief of sickness; a remedy for disease; a medicine.
3. Specifically, a medicine that purges; a cathartic.
"Comfort the little girl. Give her lollipops, give her dolls, give her physics, give her all you can think of" (C.S. Lewis, the Silver Chair, one of the Narnia books).
Lewis probably meant with "little girl" Jessica.
They should have warned you for the physics nut, though:
Physic nut (Bot.), a small tropical American euphorbiaceous tree (Jatropha Curcas), and its seeds, which are well flavored, but contain a drastic oil which renders them dangerous if eaten in large quantities.
This site is a little project that lets me make fun of some things and sense of others.
I use it to think a little more relationally without resorting to doing actual math.

As a physics major, I concur.
As a druggie... no wait. I don't take drugs. but if I did, I'd concur.
Any questions?
My daughter's looking at AP Physics next semester. And not happily.
I managed to pass about 9 credits out of intro-level physics in college, thanks to the AP class in high school.
As a physicist, I concur. Now excuse me, I have some lines of amphetamine to do.

Great blog BTW

I came here to say what steve said. Great post.
Thanks for sharing about this great matter.
"How string theory was created"
Ohhhh! Now it all makes sense how such a theory with no base in reality is still so popular!
I should have gone the drug route...I hate scrambled eggs!
Support evolution - SCRAMBLE BACK!

"dangerous" sounds like Olestra.
