Together forever and never to part . . .

No, wait, that's a different thread.

Funny, but I have to note ... two "Honeymoon" references in a row ... hmmmmmmm

No house involved here I see!

In the UK the 90 years will be extended beyond their lifetime if the mortgage is added into the equation:-{

I really want a t-shirt of "Neutralized". Can I screenprint one if I credit it?

My wedding:
The only direct expense was the officiant (about $200). Ceremony was immediate family only, and we held it in a local park the week before the local tulip festival (which meant there were loads of pretty flowers). A small group in a park is free.

Afterwards, we went to the bar that my landlord owned, which he let us use for free. Our friends met us there for our reception. After a few drinks, cake and other snacks we went and played laser tag.

All in all, we probably got married for about $400 and had a great time.

There was this kid who said that he thought girls who said they wanted anything less than a carat were being falsely modest. I got a $150 ring from Overstock.com and I still think my husband paid too much.

the diamond industry is creepy, and weddings are a terrible waste of good honeymoon money. my fella and i just took a trip and stayed together for 11 years and counting. by now we're commonlaw married, which is just as good as far as i'm concerned.

s a minister I attempt to keep the couple focused on the important things and keep costs down but it is difficult. Now someone has even added "bachelor"and "bachelorette" parties that add greatly to the costs. Where does the pressure to do this come from?

laser tag at a wedding reception? That sounds so awesome.
On the other hand, seeing the older lady wipe down tables in McDonalds made me sad. :(
