When I spent some time in the Midwest, I ran across a number of houses with ceramic/concrete goose statues on their front steps -- and, yes, many of them had seasonal costumes. It was one of the strangest things I'd ever seen. Thanks for bringing back those funny memories!

The only thing more bizarre than the ceramic goose and its costumes is the craft shows which run rampant around the Midwest where vendors compete, I repeat COMPETE to sell you the widest variety of goose outfits. Talk about Twilight Zone . . .

We have a ceramic goose in our area which the owners dress up, according to Easter, Christmas, etc. It's actually original because they're the only ones around here who do it.

Definitely not ceramic geese. The ceramic ones don't stand up to Ohio weather. They are cement geese, not ceramic.
