As someone whose daughter came to her via adoption, this one is my favourite of yours yet.

Amen, Jessica. Love it.

Now, if only the rest of the dads out there could grasp this, things would be better.

As a note, being a father myself, I'd suggest that this has to be applied not only to the child(ren) in question, but also to the mother; that's the most important part, I think!

I'll bet these would sell great as a t-shirt.

Bart Simpson: Hey, what the heck is your middle name, anyway?

Homer Simpson: You know, I have no idea! Hey, Dad, what does the "J" stand for?

Grampa Simpson: How should I know? It was your mother's job to name you, and love you and such. I was mainly in it for the spanking.

As the son of an amazing stepfather, this is probably my favorite of the "sentimental" issues of Indexed.

I'd like to buy a tee shirt of this one for every teacher/doctor/nurse/therapist/other that I meet that automatically assumes the father is not involved. I'm especially appreciative of your recognition as the divorced father of an awesome child with special needs. Thank you SO MUCH!

As much as I can appreciate the message provided in this logical diagram, the logic is flawed. It appears you have failed to factor in the exclusionary variant of the negative entity "Ex Wife/Girlfriend". This variant falsifies time, negates support, and reverses guidance. Thus, invalidating Fatherhood. Now that this logical flaw has been brought to your attention, I look forward to your updated model.

My grandfather told me once that it's easy to be a father, but hard to be a dad.

Its beautiful what you share with lil'Zac. But I wonder if you are presuming that all dads are like you?! And trust me NO !

Life is never the same.
