"Falling in love" is the problem. Real love is about decisions. Safe or Sorry happens no matter what! Too pragmatic? Yeah, ok. I admit life would be colorless without love's insanity.
"Real love is about decisions." --- I agree! It's about deciding to do things that normally you would not. It's about deciding to throw caution to the wind, forget how to fear, and learn about going all-in on bets when the odds are obscured.
Oh, also about the immeasurable satisfaction of getting it right, even when it takes a few falls to get there.
"when was the last time you heard a married man extolling the virtues of marriage?" --- I'm a married man, here to extol the virtues of marriage! Of course, it doesn't really change all that much; it's just an affirmation of what's there.
Also, just to note, I'm on my second marriage now, and I'm still on good terms with my first wife (and her husband) - we all get together pretty regularly to shoot the breeze.
This site is a little project that lets me make fun of some things and sense of others.
I use it to think a little more relationally without resorting to doing actual math.

Hey, you forgot the other two corners:
Top-left: The one you falling in love with betrayed you in every way possible.
Bottom-right: Married then falling in love with each other (it happens all the time as well :))
Take your pick.
Yeah, frequently people regret falling in love.
I prefer the non-touchy-feely Indexed cards.
nah, touchy-feely's good too.
interesting and true!... neither does "falling in love" stay, nor does a marriage of convenience hold on for long!!
i think "loving someone", rather than "being in love", helps!
so, should i marry the one i love or not!
Yeah, I know way too many of those.
@nepalsite i guess the import is that marry the one you love, not the one you are "in love with"!.. and never marry for convenience :)
personally... don't marry!!
when was the last time you heard a married man extolling the virtues of marriage! ;)...
on the contrary...
u see..
I could go on and on about the virtues of marriage - maybe it's just me.
Anyway:
Top-left = unrequited love
Bottom-right = dead
