I think what she was trying to say is that if your gifts fall in A then they are not gifts, they are stocks.

I think the idea is our gifts should be given generously to improve our community without the expectation to receive something in return (minus the quid pro quo). The visual concisely illustrates the purose of a gift. Nicely done.
