Can you seriously imagine that A.S.P., having now gotten what is effectively encouragement from his father to join Slytherin, would not go to The Dark Side?
His father may be a successful Auror, but the Malfoy family still has Generational Wealth.
Evil wizards = were in Slytherin Sociopath Killers = were bed wetters
But, the reverse isn't necessarily true. Any evil regime's ultimate power is fear. By taking the element of irrational fear out of Slytherin, by making who his children become their own choice, Harry removes the power that fear gives to the dark arts.
This site is a little project that lets me make fun of some things and sense of others.
I use it to think a little more relationally without resorting to doing actual math.
