I'm not going. I have a meeting with my parole officer.

I have no desire to go to mine... Ugh.

Honestly, I think it should be more of an open-down parabola... imo. Aren't the Harvardy sort always the ones everyone talks about but nobody sees? I don't know. Four years until my first reunion and I'm not going.

Mine is only a few months away. I've lost a lot of hair and about fifty pounds. I'm really successful at something I hate. The only people I speak to from high school are people I didn't like when I was actually there.

Decisions, decisions.

I'm coming up on mine in another year. I'm still in school working on my bachelor's, still taking money from the bank of mom & dad, and balding.

That said, I didn't knock someone up, and my girlfriend is smoking hot.

I still think I'm going to skip it though.

Wait until your 25th, 30th and 40th reunions -- all that juvenille "who has what" dissapears and you are just happy to see that everyone is alive. Trust me on this one.

It may depend on how large your hometown is...I went to high school in a very small town, and I suspect the graph is exactly the reverse. I imagine all the losers eagerly looking forward to getting drunk like old times, while the rest of thank the gods we got out of there and renew our vows never to return.

I recently got tenured at my university, and for the first time am considering the college reunion --= the 20th is this year!

I think Josh Fuller and I went to similar high schools...

Josh and Brent, I have to agree with you. I grew up in a town with population 400 so my high school reunions consists of a BBQ behind someone's mobile home. And yes, all the people who still live there can't wait for another reason to drink beer and shoot guns. I'm proud to say I've yet to attend one of these functions ... and I'm old.

I'm going to mine, which is this summer. I had ZERO desire to go until this last year. But then again I opened my own business this year, so I feel more successful.

I did not go to my 10 or 15 year reunions. I'm thinking I probably won't go to the 20, but I've got a couple of years to decide. My senior class consisted of 24 people...the reunions thus far really have been a cook-out at someone's home. I've gained 100 lbs since high school and have went through a divorce...I'm waiting awhile before I go back...I can't stand the thought of people whispering "What the hell happened to her?"....

My high school spanned quite a wide socio-economic range. Rich kids from up on the hill, poor kids from down on the flat near the motorway. One of my main reasons for not going was that they were charging $200 a head (plus extra for commemorative books, etc.), presumably so that fewer of the "riff-raff" would show up.

I'd just completed a couple of cool, high-profile international projects through my research lab at university, but I was damned if I was going to fork out that amount of money to go to a reunion that most of my classmates probably couldn't afford to attend.

I went to a school of 4,000. I liked maybe... 12 of them? Not really worth the awkward if you ask me...
