Bunnies aren't rodents, they're lagomorphs. According to Wikipedia...

"Though members of order Lagomorpha can resemble rodents (order Rodentia), and were classified as a superfamily in that order until the early twentieth century, they have since been considered a separate order."

When my daughter, then 5, lost her first tooth and was introduced to the concept of the Tooth Fairy, she had a few practical questions about how the Fairy did her job but otherwise accepted the notion with equanimity, if not anticipation.

Her little brother, then 2 1/2, did NOT, however. To him, the Tooth Fairy was a kind of cat burglar sneaking into Big Sissie's room. "I 'taired, Daddy," he said.

And he was. Right up until he saw the Tooth Fairy's gift the next morning and got so excited he jumped on Big Sister's bed and bounced the dollar bill onto the floor: "Daddy! Sissy got monies!"
