Very clever way of saying, "You can pick your friends but you can't pick your relatives (or your neighbors, to some extent).

Really, extraordinarily, outstanding.

You've blown my mind! I love it. :}

What happens if a friend is a neighbour and family, all at the same time?

My neighbours are also my friends.

Maybe your graph is partly saying "you can't choose your neighbours" but I in fact did to an extent.

Venn Diagrams are good at generalisations and koan-esque coolness, but don't try to compare them to awkward reality :)
