What counts is the heart that beats in it. In a Lancia Startos it's a Ferrari 6 cylinder - and if I could get one without paint or even plastic shell I'd grab it.

I grew up wit a well-bred DOG - some ancestry was even known and my first memories in my life are all attached to it. It even invented games for me.

Today we have 2 pure-breds. Together well over $3000.-- worth if they were puppies. One was only supposed to stay with us for a short while, but Murray (his name - a Murray Curley - named by previous owners) decided that he won't stay with anybody else and fought like possessed to stay with us. He won!

The other, Wilbur - was on death row in the pound with a long list of diseases. At 12 hrs before 'too late' we put a 'stop' in via the phone. So we ended up with a 9 month Great Dane, huge & still growing. Another 9 months later we had nursed him back to good health and the fur grew back.

Now he's going on 7 and at age 5 and a bit we were told he has only months to live. But that's another story:
http://www.innovativesynergies.info/main/projects/dcm/wilbur-main.htm

It's the heart that counts :)

... all the bestIng.Walter Hartmannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15765312072709734435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32362118.post-45673390822466266692007-04-26T15:58:00.000-05:002007-04-26T15:58:00.000-05:00I'm writing in late, but this is awesome.I'm writing in late, but this is awesome.Sheilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10192869022252976985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32362118.post-79868719207339559362007-04-25T09:45:00.000-05:002007-04-25T09:45:00.000-05:00technically, they're not free :)technically, they're not free :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32362118.post-20952651893102223742007-04-25T08:04:00.000-05:002007-04-25T08:04:00.000-05:00this warmed my heart seeing as my family used to o...this warmed my heart seeing as my family used to own the best dog in the world, a "greathound" (great dane/greyhound mix) that we usually referred to as a hyena due to this markings. props!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32362118.post-42984813099804532442007-04-25T07:50:00.000-05:002007-04-25T07:50:00.000-05:00Whoaaaa,now,anonymous.
