Yes, perhaps he's a bit superfluous to the committees working the problem right now, but at least he had the guts to suspend his campaign--something I've been waiting years for presidential candidates to do. Mr. Heartsill (above) is right: since when should we allow our leaders to campaign 24/7 while they still draw a paycheck from their jobs in the Senate? Perhaps from now on running for president should mean abdicating your seat in Congress.
